A Love Story Captured: Ben & Lauren’s Couples Boudoir Session

Some love stories are meant to be told in pictures. Ben and Lauren’s journey is one of those. Ten years ago, Ben nervously asked Lauren to be his girlfriend, and while he may call it awkward, she calls it adorable. Since then, they’ve built a life filled with energy, support, and unwavering love.

We first met Lauren about a decade ago when she stepped into our studio for her first boudoir session. Over the years, she’s returned for solo shoots, each time growing in confidence and self-love. We also had the honor of photographing her and Ben’s wedding, capturing yet another milestone in their love story. So, when they reached out to book a couples boudoir session to celebrate 10 years together, we knew this was going to be something truly special.

The Vision: A Dark, Intimate, and Authentic Experience

Before their session, we asked Ben and Lauren what they envisioned. Their words? Dark, intimate, sensual. They weren’t looking for overly staged poses but instead a mix of candid moments, real laughter, and deep connection.

Lauren wanted music that meant something to them—rap, alternative, and of course, some ‘90s throwbacks. They planned to start in sleek, all-black attire before embracing their comfort with more intimate looks. As always, they were “down for anything,” trusting us to guide them while ensuring the experience felt organic and true to their love.

From the moment they stepped into the studio, the energy was electric. We started with some playful banter, bringing out their natural chemistry before transitioning into the deeper, more intimate moments. Their love radiated in every shot—genuine laughter, stolen kisses, the kind of connection that only 10 years of growing together can create.

Throughout the session, we kept the atmosphere relaxed, letting their emotions take center stage. There were moments of raw emotion, quiet whispers, and deep gazes that spoke volumes.
